GCSE also acts as accountants or auditors for many such organizations, including some well known ones. We bring the same level of expertise and commitment to these engagements as we do to our profit oriented clients.

Such organizations are not profit driven, in the traditional sense. They are, however, generally the custodians of assets, whether received as donations, grants or some other form of fundraising and are accountable to government authorities, donors and other stakeholders. Their mandate is to utilize these assets for the statutory or intended purpose, as efficiently as possible. Although auditors are not “watch dogs” and are not in a position to indicate how wisely funds are spent, our role is to provide some sense of credibility on an organization’s financial information through the audit process, as communicated in the auditors’ report.
